Campaign Kickoff with Steve Gilliland

On October 4, 2011, Heartland United Way kicked off its annual community fundraising campaign with a luncheon featuring keynote speaker Steve Gilliland. Gilliland is an author and inspirational speaker who has spoken all over North America. The keynote address focused on making a difference, which is the title of Gilliland's newest book published in June 2011. After the event, Gilliland signed books and donated book sales proceeds from the event to Heartland United Way. Over 500 community members and students from local schools attended the event.
