Community Impact Program Grant

The Heartland United Way fights for the Health, Education and Financial Stability for every person in every community. Our goal is to connect communities in order to decrease childhood poverty to give children a chance and families a future.  
 
The maximum grant awarded will be $1,500.  Preference for funding will be given to organizations that align with one of the following four areas:
 
  • FOSTERING CHILDHOOD SUCCESS CHILDREN ARE READY TO ENTER SCHOOL AND ARE SUCCESSFUL IN EARLY GRADES
  • ENCOURAGING YOUTH SUCCESSYOUTH GAIN THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE
  • IMPROVING FINANCIAL STABILITY INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES WILL INCREASE FINANCIAL LITERACY, BUDGETING SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT
  • INCREASING ACCESS TO HEALTHINDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES HAVE ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE AND MAKING HEALTHY CHOICES TO IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH
 
Applications will not be accepted for capital expenditures, buildings, youth sports, fire departments or churches.
 
Please upload a copy of your program/project budget along with this application.
 
All Grant recipients will be required to complete a progress report outlining program's results.  This report will be due on December 31, 2020.
