GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA (January 13, 2026) The winds are shifting but Go Big GIVE is on course to set sail for giving in 2026!
With a new year comes a new look for GoBigGIVE.org as the site transitions to a new platform: Mightycause.
Nonprofits who wish to participate in this 24-hour giving event can visit the Nonprofit Toolkit at GoBigGIVE.org starting on January 14 to see a training schedule and learn more about the transition. You can also email give@gobiggive.org with any questions.
January 14, is also the first day nonprofits can register to participate at GoBigGIVE.org.
The Heartland United Way and Greater Grand Island Community Foundation partner every year to bring Go Big GIVE to Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties. The event inspires communities to come together for 24 hours to give as much as possible to support the work of nonprofits in our four counties.
In 2025, 167 nonprofits participated in Go Big GIVE and raised $2,007,344. Match pool and incentive prizes added up to $126,300. In the past 12 years, Go Big GIVE has raised more than $12.6 million for 240 local nonprofits. Matching dollars have totaled more than $1.1 million.
Go Big GIVE 2026 is May 7. Pre-Give is happening from April 27 to May 6.
