GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA (September 22, 2025) Twenty-seven people joined the Heartland United Way and Rural Prosperity Nebraska Extension Educator Sandra Barrera Fuentes to explore the stories behind Grand Island’s diverse businesses.

4th Street (and beyond!) Business Tours were held on September 15 and 17, as part of Welcoming Week. Eleven businesses were featured on each tour.

Business owners encouraged participants to shop and eat year-round.
