GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA (April 21, 2026) One small act can create a ripple.
The 13th Annual Go Big GIVE is hoping to turn ripples of giving into waves of impact for 165 local nonprofits on May 7, 2026.
Over the past 12 years the 24-hour giving day has raised $12,619,261 for 240 nonprofits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties. This is because of the ripple 46,923 people have made with their donation. In 2025, Go Big GIVE raised a record-setting $2,007,344 for 167 organizations.
This year, donors can start giving at GoBigGIVE.org during Pre-Give from April 27 to May 6.
Match-pool funds and incentive prizes allow donations to grow thanks to generous Admiral’s Circle sponsors Hornady Manufacturing, Greater Grand Island Community Foundation and Heartland United Way along with our Captain’s Deck sponsors, including: S.N. There are several ways you can come aboard this voyage towards improving our communities. The public is invited to attend the Set Sail for Giving Go Big GIVE Pre-Give Event, sponsored by Lutz, on April 30, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Double V Restaurant in Grand Island. Those in attendance, who have donated at least $10, will be eligible to earn $250 for their favorite organization.
