Welcoming Week is dedicated to fostering an inclusive community, bringing together public and private organizations along with local residents to support and celebrate Grand Island’s immigrant and refugee populations, while promoting a culture of welcome and belonging.

The World's Largest Totally Irrigated Working Farm Show plays host to a food drive that has collected more than 16,000 pounds of food in 2025. Donations are distributed to local backpack programs, food pantries, and shelters. 

Join us to celebrate the generosity and the good being done in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties to advance health, youth opportunity, financial security, and strengthen local resilience so that all can thrive.
