A Workplace Campaign is a way for employees to easily give from their paycheck to put Hall, Hamilton, Howard, & Merrick Counties on the path to lasting change by creating youth opportunity, financial security, healthy communities, and community resiliency here at home.

Ruger lost feeling in his leg and was crying from pain long after a fall. A Rural Community Impact Grant helped certify an Occupational Therapist at Howard County Medical Center in the Pediatric Treatment of Bowel & Bladder Disorders, meaning Ruger can receive care close to home.

When Getzari arrived in Grand Island she knew very little English. She calls the Heartland United Way-funded Literacy Council her safe place. Now she’s working to expand her education and is exploring new ways to use her bilingual skills to help her community.

Pacesetter Campaign Kickoff

The Pacesetter campaign kickoff is an opportunity for workplace campaign leaders and coordinators to connect with the Heartland United Way staff and community partners and learn more about the steps we are taking to advance health, youth opportunity, financial security, and community resiliency. This event highlights ways workplaces can take action, get involved, and give back to the local communities in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, & Merrick Counties by sharing time, voice, and dollars. During the kickoff we will share our campaign theme, fun challenges, printed materials, and tips on how to energize your team toward a fun & successful campaign! United is the Way we improve lives and create possibilities — and that starts with leaders like you. Thank you for lending your efforts to this campaign.
