Heartland United Way's Food Drive - Monday, September 4th- Wednesday, September 13th, 2023

Food collected during the food drive is distributed to local food pantries and backpack programs in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties in Nebraska. Heartland United Way works with FFA leaders and local grocery stores to coordinate the food drive efforts.

In previous years, in addition to donating food at Husker Harvest Days, community members can support the drive by donating at Super Saver - 2nd St., Super Saver - Five Points, Hy-Vee, Hometown Market in St. Paul, Whitefoot Market in Boelus, and Kerry's grocery in Dannebrog. The Heartland United Way Food Drive is made possible by Nebraska Farmer, Farm Progress, and local FFA Chapters.

Husker Harvest Days Food Drive - Tuesday, September 12, 2023 - Thursday, September 14, 2023

FFA students are invited to participate in the Heartland United Way's Food Drive at Husker Harvest Days. Each student must bring a minimum of 5 non-perishable food items for free entry into Husker Harvest Days. Food donations will only be taken at the bus entrance.. Questions? If your organization would like to pick up food to distribute to your clients, please complete the form below. Distribution times will be on a first come, first serve basis. Assigned times will begin at 9:00 AM on Friday, September 15th. As we get closer to the distribution, we will send out a completed schedule with your arrival time listed. If you have any questions, please contact us at 308-382-2675.
